La Bella Associates recently hired Roger Klatt, of Barker; Cory Stamp, of Brockport; David Schaller and Dennis Walton, of Fairport; Jessica Woughter, of Gates; Devin Sorell, of Hannibal; and Bridget DeHaan, Matthew Guntrum, Patrick Kearney, Ian Salathiel and Brian Urena, of Rochester, to work in its Rochester office.
The 700-person firm specializes in architecture, engineering, environmental consulting, surveying, planning and grant writing.
DeHaan works as a junior transportation engineer for the transportation division. She recently graduated with a civil engineering degree from Clarkson University.
Guntrum was hired as a project technician for the architecture division. He has two years of experience working as an architectural intern for another firm. Guntrum will use Revit and focus on health care projects.
Kearney joins as an assistant project manager for the building engineering division. He will focus on hydropower projects.
Klatt was hired as a local district representative for the architecture division. He has 11 years of experience working in CIP and 33 years of experience in education. He will continue his work in education along with working with school districts. He previously served as superintendent of Barker Central School District/Roy-Hart.
Salathiel serves as a junior mechanical engineer for the building engineering division. He recently graduated from University at Buffalo, and worked as a mechanical engineering intern at LaBella.
Schaller joins as a construction manager for the program management division. He has 30 years of experience working in utility construction and management. He previously served as managing director of U.S. North East for Rokstad Power Inc.
Sorell works as an engineer for the power systems division. She recently graduated with a civil engineering degree from Clarkson University. Sorell has three years of experience through her internships with National Grid.
Stamp serves as a project manager for the environmental division.
Urena was hired as a gas designer for the civil division.
Walton joins as a field construction manager for the power systems division. He has 26 years of experience in construction management, and previously served as manager of construction at Duke Energy.
Woughter serves as a project technician for the architecture division. She has one year of experience in drafting.
