Canandaigua National Bank and Trust will feature local artist Mike Kraus’ “Brightscapes,” a series of colorful landscapes both real and imaginative, through June 30 at the Alexander Park Community Office, 210 Alexander St., Rochester.
“I wanted to create pieces for CND that were energetic and bright during a cold, harsh winter,” Kraus said. “Something to remind us of warmer days ahead.”
Kraus is known for his vibrant paintings of nature. Originally from Muskegon, Michigan, he attended the School of the Arts Institute of Chicago before moving to Rochester. Kraus is now a full-time artist living in Rochester with his wife, Megan Bell.
