Irondequoit resident joins St. John’s as coordinator of spiritual care

The Rev. Sarah Culp, of Irondequoit, recently joined St. John’s as its coordinator for spiritual care.

Culp will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of spiritual care functions. She will arrange regular worship services for a range of faiths at St. John’s Home and collaborate will all departments to ensure a vital spiritual presence is maintained.

She has experience in various roles across Monroe County, including Irondequoit, Greece and Penfield. Her career includes development of faith-based educational programs and community outreach. She was most recently the constituent services coordinator for the town of Irondequoit, where she provided communications support to the town supervisor.

She earned a Master of Divinity from the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in 1991. She is board president of Alice’s Encore: Music and Mindfulness and sits on the board of directors for A Magical Journey Thru Stages.
