The second annual Avanti Summit event celebrating women business owners, CEOs and entrepreneurs will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Strathallan, 550 East Ave., Rochester.
The event will feature keynote speaker Kitty Van Bortel, who owns a top-selling Subaru dealership and Ford dealership. Her automotive group is one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the greater Rochester area.
“There are many amazing women business owners who are visionaries,” said David Mammano, founder of the Avanti Entrepreneur Group. “That’s what this Avanti Summit is for — to celebrate and learn from the powerful women running businesses in Rochester.”
The day’s panel, "Debunking the Myths of Strong Female Leaders," will include Michelle Ashby, Tipping Point Communications; Amy Castronova, Novatek Communications; Sitima Fowler, Capstone IT; and Myneco Ramirez, MBR Concepts LLC.
Workshops will be presented by Karen Benjamin, Worldleaders; Sharon Napier, Partners and Napier; and Barb Glassman, G-Force Collaborations.
