United Cerebral Palsy of Rochester recently was named a semifinalist for the 2017 Collaboration Prize. The national award is designed to highlight permanent models of collaboration among nonprofit organizations. UCP was one of 18 semifinalists selected from more than 350 submissions. UCP of Rochester collaborates with the national cerebral palsy nonprofit to support individuals of all ages who are living with disabilities. It provides a range of health, educational and support services in the Greater Rochester area to help children and adults living with cerebral palsy lead fulfilling lives where their needs are heard and respected. A selection panel, who will select eight finalists. The finalists will be announced Feb. 23, and each will receive $10,000.
