Rochester Association of Performing Arts’ Family Theatre will continue its performance of “Rumpelstiltskin” at 2 p.m. July 30 and Aug. 6 and 7 p.m. Aug. 3 at Kodak Center for Performing Arts, 200 W. Ridge Road, Rochester.
The show explores a lesson of honesty and courage. As a young princess is forced to spin straw into gold, an evil dwarf provides the gold in exchange for her first-born child. The dwarf will be defeated with the help of a storyteller and the audience.
RAPA will continue its season with “The Wild Party” at 7:30 p.m. July 28-29 and 4 p.m July 30.
Its summer camps featuring actors ages 7-17 will include “Into the Woods Jr.” on Jul 28-29, “Annie Kids” on Aug. 4-5, “Anything Goes YPE” on Aug. 11-12, “Aristocats Kids” on Aug. 18-19 and “Peter Pan Jr.” on Aug. 25-26.
