Build a Better World — The Summer Reading Game: through Aug. 2. For grades 6-12. Get scratch-off prize tickets for a chance to win. Pick up a coupon book filled with reading challenges to complete throughout the summer.
Adult Summer Reading Program: through Aug. 4. For ages 18 and older. Complete one raffle slip for each book read to be eligible for weekly prizes.
Habitat for Humanity: 7 to 8 p.m. July 27. Sheila Sloan, construction manager for Flower City Habitat for Humanity, will discuss the history of the Christian housing ministry. Registration is requested.
Health Care Navigator Session: 4:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 1. Enroll in health insurance through the New York State of Health Marketplace under the guidance of an application counselor. Bring ID, most recent tax return and social security numbers and birth dates for those being enrolled. Registration is required. For information: 585-613-7662.
Wednesday Teas Book Review: 1 to 2 p.m. Aug. 2. Librarian Kim Catalanello will review books of special interest to attendees.
Build a Better World with Cupcake Wars: 7 to 8 p.m. Aug. 2. For grades 6-12. Use frostings, fillings and decorations to make cupcakes. Registration is required.
