The Zoghlin Group PLLC recently hired Kris Matteson and Julie Montana as legal assistants.
Matteson will work in the firm’s energy, land use, municipal and zoning practice areas.
“I hope to support projects that enhance the quality life in our community here in Rochester and beyond, and collaborate with others to promote land use development that respects and preserves our environment for future generations,” Matteson said.
She previously served more than 25 years as a legal assistant, including 11 years in land use development.
“Kris’s wealth of experience and knowledge has already made her a key addition to our team,” said Mindy Zoghlin, principal of The Zoghlin Group. “We are very fortunate that we were able find someone with her contagious enthusiasm and compassion to work with our attorneys and staff in implementing high quality solutions for our clients.”
Montana recently earned her Legal Office Professional Certificate from the Center for Workforce Development at Monroe 2-Orleans Board of Educational Cooperative Services.
“It’s an honor to work with such a talented group of professionals,” Montana said. “Being new to the legal field, I feel I am in the perfect place to learn and grow as a legal professional. The Zoghlin Group is committed to training and development, and I am excited to be part of such a collaborative environment.”
“We were pleased to work with Julie as an intern while she finished her Legal Office Professional Certificate, and overjoyed when she agreed to join the firm full-time,” Zoghlin said. “Julie’s strong work ethic and wonderful customer service skills have made her a perfect addition to our team.”
