Rochester Area Booksellers Association and RIT Press will present the 45th annual Antiquarian Book Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 9 at Main Street Armory, 900 E. Main St., Rochester.
Nearly 50 dealers from across the nation and Canada will bring rare, antiquarian titles along with secondhand books of various subjects, including scholarly texts.
Exhibitors will present prints, maps, photographica and collectible ephemera that embrace diverse subject categories. The book fair will feature readings and book signings by local authors along with displays by special collections libraries.
RIT Press, the scholarly book publishing enterprise of Rochester Institute of Technology, will offer selections from its catalogue of books on typography, printing and the history of the book.
Admission costs $5 or free for students with a current ID. Coupons with a $2 discount are available at area libraries, bookshops and cafes. Advance tickets available online.
