Project URGE will host “Beyond Food and Clothes: Community Development Strategies that Can Work” from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at Foodlink, 1999 Mount Read Blvd., Rochester.
The free, collaborative event will unite community leaders together from all professions and explore ways to address systemic community issues based on strategies that are currently working. Attendees will hear from local organizations that are responding to poverty and its counterparts, such as employment insecurity.
Lunch will be provided. Reservations are requested.
