Wendy’s High School Heisman recently recognized Aleah Martone and Malcolm McCollough, of Spencerport High School, as school winners for their dedication to never cutting corners.
“These students are known by their teachers and friends for their commitment to excellence,” said John Pelin, Spencerport athletic director. “We are excited and honored that a program like Wendy’s High School Heisman is also recognizing their hard work.”
Wendy’s and the Heisman Trophy Trust have honored more than 600,000 students since 1994. Wendy’s celebrated the accomplishments of thousands of the best high school seniors by awarding winners in five phases this year.
School winners received a certificate and Wendy’s High School Heisman patch. State finalists won a bronze medal, Wendy’s High School Heisman state finalist patch and $25 gift card. From the group of state finalists, one senior male and female were named state winners.
