There will be a coloring contest for children. Special luminaries, each filled with a candle and bird seed, will be provided to families to take home as they leave the event.
“It is our mission to help people celebrate and remember the lives of their loved ones that have passed,” said Lynn Sullivan, CEO of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery & Ascension Garden. “The Luminaries of Remembrance event is just one small way for us to help brighten the lives of individuals who have lost loved ones during this holiday season. And, the sight of 2,000 luminaries glowing in the cemetery is truly a beautiful sight to behold.”
