Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its 2017 Small Business Awards with presenting sponsor Genesee Regional Bank at Rochester Airport Marriott.
Selected from a field of over 60 nominees, Deborah Ham Whitt Agency received the Microenterprise of the Year Award, and Ridgemont Country Club won the Small Business of the Year Award.
The Small Business Awards featured State Sen. Joe Robach, R-56th District, as the keynote speaker. Entercom Rochester’s Steve Hausmann, co-host of the WBEE “Morning Coffee Club” on 92.5 FM, and WHEC-TV’s Nikki Rudd, co-anchor News10NBC Today, served as masters of ceremonies.
The event was supported and attended by regional business and community leaders.
“Greece Regional Chamber is honored to be able to put a spotlight on the significant contributions and achievements of small businesses in our community, which are so essential to both our regional and national economies,” said Sarah Lentini, president and CEO. “We believe strongly in the power of small business to improve and transform our communities.”
