Rochester Professional Consultants Network will host its Business Boot Camp from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Feb. 6-20 and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Feb. 27-March 6 at High Tech Rochester, 150 Lucius Gordon Drive, West Henrietta.
The five-session program offers presentations, workshops and panel discussions about starting or improving a business.
“The program is hands-on, practical and designed to apply what you learn, while you learn,” said Sandy Glanton, program director and president of Projects Accomplished. “Successful consultants and business owners come and share their knowledge and experience with the participants”
Business Boot Camp will cover topics necessary to build a successful business, including “Define Your Services, Clients and Value (Your Foundation); “Choose a Legal Entity (DBA, LLC, Corp., Liability, Taxes); “Build Your Reputation and Credibility”; “Market Your Services”; “Interview Potential Clients and Discover Your Value”; and “Present Your Value Proposition and Receive Expert Feedback.”
Attendees will present a 10-minute value proposition scenario during the final sessions and receive feedback from business experts.
“Our participants develop their business models while learning what it really takes to be successful — the planning, the marketing, the discipline,” Glanton said.
Early registration fees are $245 for RPCN members and $295 for nonmembers through Jan. 8, 2018, before they increase to $295 for RPCN members and $345 for nonmembers. RPCN memberships cost $125.
