The following are crimes that have occurred recently in and around your neighborhood. The Monroe County Post does not identify individuals or locations in this blotter. For more information regarding these incidents, please contact the Irondequoit Police Department.
Dec. 1
• Officers responded to Ontario View Street for a motor vehicle accident. Through their investigation, they learned that the driver of the vehicle was unlicensed and intoxicated. The driver was subsequently arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, DWI, driving while ability impaired and other vehicle and traffic violations.
Dec. 2
• Officers responded to the city of Rochester for a recovered stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been stolen from East Ridge Road on Nov. 30 after the victim left his keys in his vehicle while he went into a store.
• Victim reports that an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle on East Ridge Road and stole his jacket and wallet containing his debit card and other personal documents. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
• An officer conducted a traffic stop at North Goodman Street. Through his investigation, the officer determined the driver was unlicensed and was also a wanted fugitive by the U.S. Marshals. The driver was arrested on the U.S. Marshals warrant and was issued vehicle and traffic citations.
