Training that will help in understanding how local planning and zoning relates to agriculture districts in New York state.
A training conducted by an expert in farmland protection is being offered by Ontario County. Local planners are invited to take advantage of the training that will help them understand how local planning and zoning relates to agriculture districts in New York state.
The training will take place Jan. 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Ontario County Safety Training Facility, 2914 County Road 48 (across from the Ontario County Complex on County Road 36). Presenter will be Robert Somers, manager of the Farmland Protection unit of the New York State Agriculture and Markets.

A certificate will be provided participants at the end of the workshop.
