Months after asking the public for help, Golisano Children's Hospital is flooded with colorful surgical caps for kids!

Patients get to pick out a cap before going into surgery and there are all sorts of fun patterns.

In November, hospital staff members tell us they were completely out of hats, so they asked the community to make some and boy did they deliver!

"We had no idea when we put out the plea saying could we get people to hand make these for us the immense outpouring we had from our community," says Wendy Lane, Child Life Program Coordinator. "Not only from our community, but from people across the country that have been sending these in and they are wonderful. The kids love them."

The hospital now has over 1,000 hats and they're actually out of room for them. So they're asking people to hold off making more hats for now and look into other ways of helping out.
