Hearing Loss Association of America Rochester Chapter will meet on Feb. 6 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester.
Hearing Other People’s Experiences will meet at 10 a.m. in the Vestry Room.
Anton Porsteinsson will present “Untreated hearing loss and Alzheimer’s disease: Is there a connection?” at noon in Parish Hall. The geriatric psychiatrist will address the theory that untreated hearing loss is a causative factor in dementia.
Catherine Clark will discuss “Challenges and successes in Ethiopia” at 8 p.m. in Parish Hall. Clark serves as a volunteer audiological consultant for programs established by Global Visions Empowerment in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.
