Parent Network of New York recently held its Family and Kids Day Expo at Pinnacle Athletic Campus in Victor.
The event featured over 4,000 attendees and more than 100 exhibitors. Activities included face painting, sand art, aerial climbing, bounce houses, a petting zoo, magicians, balloon artists, train rides and an obstacle course.
Families sampled gourmet popcorn by Prima Pop, cotton candy from Sugary Delights and bubble tea from Migh Tea Boba, just to name a few of local food businesses in attendance.
Free giveaways were provided by Mac’s Philly Steak, Altitude Trampoline Park and The Strong Museum. Four charities were invited to attend: Make-A-Wish, Camp Good Days and Special Times, Wildlife Rockstars and Open Door Mission.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Office offered free child ID badges, along with Ontario County Recycling Center.
Parent Network of New York held previous events at various locations, including Main Street Armory in Rochester and Webster Soccer Association in 2014, which raised more than $2,500 for Ronald McDonald House Charities. This year’s event at Pinnacle Athletic Campus was its most successful one to date.
Next year’s expo will feature an Easter theme on April 20 at Rochester Dome Arena, 2695 E. Henrietta Road, Henrietta.
Parent Network of New York promotes “Thomas the Train” and “The Polar Express” train rides at Medina Railroad Museum in Medina, as well as train events at the Arcade Railroad in Arcade.
