“I’m thrilled that Jason Barnecut-Kearns has accepted the position as our new CFO,” said Andrea DeMeo, president and CEO. “Jason’s background in corporate financial management on a global and national scale will build on our strong infrastructure and help foster our future success.”
Barnecut-Kearns has 20 years of experience in global finance oversight and budgeting, strategic planning, management accounting, financial planning and analysis and risk management. He will oversee and direct Trillium Health’s supply chain and financial management, and is responsible for managing and evaluating Trillium Health’s financial performance.
He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Bournemouth University in Poole, England.
“I’m delighted to join such a passionate organization that focuses on providing affordable and equitable health care to all in the Rochester community,” Barnecut-Kearns said. “Trillium understands how to deliver high quality health care at an affordable cost to its patients.”
Ewing joined Trillium Health in January 2018, and has experience in HIPAA privacy and security adherence, contract drafting and negotiations, compliance and entity formation.
“I’m excited that Greg Ewing has joined our team at Trillium Health,” DeMeo said. “Greg’s expertise in HIPAA privacy and compliance is an asset to our organization, and will help support our ongoing commitment to outstanding patient care.”
Ewing’s previous roles included compliance officer, privacy officer, HIPAA security expert, manager, information security — governance and compliance and in-house counsel.
He holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Master of Public Health in law and public health from Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is a certified information systems security professional, which allows him to provide regulatory advice and direction of information security compliance.
“I am elated to have become a member of the Trillium Health team,” Ewing said. “I believe the work this organization does for the members of the Rochester community is critical to ensuring access to health care. To be a part of this team’s mission in ensuring high quality health care is wonderful.”
