Flaherty Salmin CPAs in Rochester recently won Inavero’s Best of Accounting Award for providing superior service.
Award winners prove themselves as industry leaders in service quality based on the results of an independent client satisfaction survey.
The firm received a Net Promoter score of 88.5 percent, more than 4.5 times the industry’s average of 19 percent in 2018. In addition, 90 percent of Flaherty Salmin survey respondents said they are very likely to recommend the firm to colleagues or friends — higher than the accounting industry’s average of 43 percent.
Benchmarks such as this are collected by Inavero in an annual nationwide panel study of the accounting industry to help firms see how they measure up to competitors. According to Inavero, clients of 2018 Best of Accounting winners are, on average, two-times more likely to be satisfied than those who work with nonwinning firms.
“2018 Best of Accounting award recipients have demonstrated a superior commitment to client satisfaction and service quality,” said Eric Gregg, founder and CEO of Inavero. “These organizations are leading the industry by example, and are resetting expectations about what clients can expect from their accounting providers. I couldn’t be more proud to feature them on BestofAccounting.com.”
“We try to be very adaptable to our clients’ needs, and are pleased that our survey results show that we are generally successful in doing that,” said Tim Flaherty, managing partner of Flaherty Salmin. “Our firm is the right size to take a hands-on approach and be true partners with our wide range of clients, whether they seek us out for our vast experience in the affordable housing industry, for their business needs or for their personal tax returns.
“We are truly humbled to be recognized this spring as a Best of Accounting Award winner by Inavero and one of Rochester’s Top Workplaces by the Democrat and Chronicle. I believe the two are closely related. Having happy employees who, in turn, create happy clients is what it’s all about.”
