Allied Financial Partners employee earns CFP certification
Allied Financial Partners in Victor recently announced that Daniel Esford successfully completed his CFP certification.
Esford graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in economics from Rochester Institute of Technology. He joined Allied Financial Partners in 2014 as part of the payroll team before transitioning to financial services in 2015. While Esford is a fully licensed registered representative working in support of the director of financial services, he will now take on more substantial responsibilities in developing and deploying comprehensive, customized financial planning.
The CFP designation identifies individuals who meet the experience and ethical requirements, successfully complete financial planning coursework and pass the CFP certification examination that covers financial planning, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits and estate planning.
Victor Girl Scouts receive 2018 Gold Award
Mary Allen, Grace Faulkner and Kelli Kunick, of Victor, received the 2018 Gold Award during a ceremony hosted by Girl Scouts of Western New York at Hyatt Regency Rochester.
The Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, recognizes Scouts for the 80-plus hours they put into their community-based service projects that fulfill a need within a community. The award qualifies Scouts for special scholarship opportunities.
The ceremony honored Allen for “Compost: Turning Garbage into Gold, “ Faulkner for “Let’s Dance” and Kunick for “Coloring Pages for Teens Undergoing Cancer Treatments.
