Massive call out: Seventy-five firefighters responded to a large fire at an apartment complex in Henrietta early Thursday morning. No serious injuries reported but at this time, a resident's dog is missing. The Days Inn which is nearby, had to be evacuated as well, due to all the smoke.

Seventy-five firefighters responded to a large fire at an apartment complex in Henrietta Thursday morning.

A fire broke out around 4 a.m. at an eight-unit apartment building at Bennington Hills Court off of Lehigh Station Road.

The Red Cross is assisting the 20 people displaced after the fire.

No serious injuries have been reported, but one dog is unaccounted for.

Investigators say the fire started on a balcony on the opposite side of the building. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the assistant fire chief says that it does not appear to be suspicious.

The Days Inn was also evacuated nearby because of all the smoke.

Fire crews continue to knock down a fire at the Bennington Hills apartment complex in Henrietta.

Most of an eight-unit apartment building is destroyed after the fire started at 4 a.m. Thursday at the complex off of Lehigh Station Road. Firefighters responded four minutes later.

The fire chief says about 20 residents are being held at the community center and the Red Cross will provide additional assistance.

No serious injuries have been reported.

Avoid the area since crews are still working on the fire.
