Two individuals accused of killing and burying a Monroe County man have been convicted.
On Tuesday, a Monroe County Jury convicted 23-year-old Genisis Colon and 30-year-old Alvin Hancock with two counts of murder in the second degree for the death of Moran Wilson who was found buried in the backyard of a home on Dayton Street in May of 2017.
They were also convicted of kidnapping in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, robbery in the first degree and robbery in the second degree.
Colon was also convicted of tampering with physical evidence and criminal possession of marijuana in the second degree.
The Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley tweeted out in response to their conviction.
