Daystar for Medically Fragile Children in Rochester recently held a graduation ceremony for its students ranging in age from 4 months to 6 years.
In all, 125 people came together to celebrate the accomplishments of five children who graduated from the program, as well as 33 others who “moved up” or on to other classrooms within Daystar and/or other programs in the community.
Daystar invited all attendees to a reception after the ceremony.
“Graduation reminds the Daystar community of what our program is all about,” said Kim Condon, executive director. “We celebrate the accomplishments of our incredible students throughout the entire year, but graduation is an extra special day. We recognize the tireless efforts that our team and the Daystar families do to enrich the lives of our children living with special health care needs.”
