William Jenkins is wanted in New Jersey after the body of a family friend was discovered in his brother's home Tuesday.

Ontario County District Attorney Jim Ritts tells Messenger Post's news partner, News10NBC that William Jenkins, 34, was arrested on a parole violation Wednesday in Geneva.

At the same time, authorities in Bergen County, New Jersey charged William with aggravated manslaughter in the death of 25-year-old Roosevelt Rene.

Rene was a family friend and music producer who was staying in the football player's home at the time.

Investigators say Janoris Jenkins has been in Florida since a mini-camp two weeks ago.

According to the New York Department of Corrections, William Jenkins was arrested on drug charges in 2006 and 2011. He was paroled in 2016.

Ritts says William Jenkins will go before a judge in Ontario County on the parole violation and will be extradited to New Jersey when a warrant is obtained.
