Former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who resigned in disgrace earlier this year, will collect a nearly $64,000 pension.

According to the New York Law Journal, the state comptroller's office confirms Schneiderman filed retirement paperwork last month.

He will collect a gross monthly pension of $5,329, or $63,948 annually, from the state.

He received his first payment at the end of June.

Schneiderman resigned as attorney general in May after four women told the New Yorker he physically abused them. He denies the allegations.
