Artist Dick Bennett shares his experience abroad in 1970s Austria with “Europe ‘71-’72: A Student’s Perspective” through Aug. 5 at Image City Photography Gallery, 722 University Ave., Rochester.
Bennett spent his junior year in college studying in Vienna, Austria. He traveled and spent time with 19 students in the program as part of his studies at St. Lawrence University. Bennett explored western and eastern Europe over weekends and vacations.
The exhibit features digitized images from Bennett’s Ektachrome slides. An opening reception is set for 5 to 8:30 p.m. on July 13.
Artwork by Michelle Turner is featured in the Neuberger Gallery. Works by visiting artist Chip Evra, as well as Clay Gehring, Susan Kaye, Michael Lempert, Bob Simon, gallery partners and artists-in-residence, are on display.
The First Friday gallery reception runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 3.
