All ages
Harry Potter Week: through Aug. 3. Join for a week of Harry Potter fun. Celebrate with a week-long marathon of the Harry Potter movies, a birthday party for Harry with cake, enjoy daily crafts and activities and a Harry Potter themed escape room. All ages are welcome and costumes are encouraged.
Adult programs
Sit and stitch: 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Mondays.
Alzheimer’s Association Presentation — The Basics: 6 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 2. Community education classes are free for care partners and those who are interested in information about Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Registration is required. To register for a class call (800) 272-3900.
Harry Potter 21-plus Trivia Night: 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 3. Attendees can join to show their knowledge of the Chosen One. All grown-up Harry Potter fans are welcome. The library will serve butterbeer, snacks and pizza. The library is closed to the public at this time. Trivia teams are recommended, but not required. Register for this program before all the seats are taken.
Decorative Cupcakes: 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 4. In this class, students will build on basic techniques and learn more advanced skills allowing them to fill, ice and decorate cupcakes. Students will learn how to create ribbons, petal flowers, ribbon rose and leaves to embellish their sweet treats and have fun along the way Anyone registered for this class who is younger than 12 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

Stories for Wee Ones: 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. on Mondays. For ages 2 and younger.
Stories and Songs for ages 2-5: 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Stories and Songs for All Ages: 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursdays
Thursday Night is Family Night: 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays. All ages. Stop in any Thursday evening for a variety of activities the entire family will enjoy. Check the program calendar to see what the day’s activity will be.
Stories in the Park: 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays through Aug. 7. Stories, songs and rhymes with a summer breeze. Come to Ridge Park — across from the Town Hall on Ridge Road in Webster. Water will be provided, but feel free to bring a water bottle. No registration required. In case of rain, this story time will be held at the library. If unsure, call after 10 a.m.
Saturday Stories for Wee-Ones: 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 4. Attendees can interact with their baby, age 2 and younger, through songs, rhymes and books. Fifteen minutes of structured time will be followed by time for babies and caregivers to play and socialize. No registration required.
