Crough was arrested and charged with robbery in the second degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree.

A Greece man has been arrested in connection to the robbery of a 74-year-old woman.

Police say that on Aug. 7, Jason Crough, 40, allegedly ripped the woman's purse away from her while in the Wegmans parking lot on Titus Avenue.

The victim suffered a minor laceration to her right elbow and a bruise to her left forearm.

Crough was arrested and charged with robbery in the second degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree.

The Greece resident was also charged with robbery in the third degree from an incident that occurred in Irondequoit earlier that day.

Crough was remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 cash bail and $50,000 bond. He is due back in Irondequoit court on Aug. 13.
