Adult programs
Sit and stitch: 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Mondays.
Dog Days of Summer Film Fest: 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. on Tuesdays throughout August. Take a break from the heat and enjoy a classic movie or musical on the big screen, along with free refreshments. The library will be showing some classic films of yesteryear. Full details are available on the website or come into the library and pick up a flyer. Join and bring friends.
Whole Food Nutrition: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 16. Find out what it means to eat “whole foods” and how they impact bodies for the better. Dr. Katie will discuss whole food nutrition, what makes a good supplement, and other ways to help to feed the human systems. Registration

Reading Rocks Documentary Series — The Beatles: 2 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 17. The library will show “The Beatles: Eight Days a Week” and the recommended biography to go with it is “The Beatles Book” by Hunter Davies.
Teen programs
Gemstone Bracelets: 11 a.m. to noon on Aug. 18. Teens can rock their summer wardrobe by creating their own gemstone bracelets. Registration is required, open to grades four through eight.

Stories for Wee Ones: 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. on Mondays. For ages 2 and younger.
Stories and Songs for ages 2-5: 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Thursday Night is Family Night: 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays. All ages. Stop in any Thursday evening for a variety of activities the entire family will enjoy. Check the program calendar to see what the day’s activity will be.
How It Works: 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 16. Join and take apart some household appliances and learn what makes them tick. Registration required; open to children entering grades three through five.
