While it will be difficult to find a candidate for Supervisor to replace him, NOW is the time for Bristol to share the fine leadership, caring, and dedication with the rest of Ontario County that Bob Green represents and will continue to demonstrate as the next Sheriff of Ontario County. If you are a registered Republican please take the time and vote for him on Primary Day, Sept. 13, 2018 at your local polling place to ensure his place on the Republican line at the November 6 election.
I have had the privilege of working for Mr. Green as the Bristol Planning and Zoning Secretary since 2010, Chair of the Bristol Republican Committee for three years, and part of the Green Team since he made his choice to run for office of Ontario County Sheriff.
Bob Green has been the Supervisor of Bristol for the last nine years; during that time he has served as Chair of the Ontario County Public Safety Commission, and also served on the County Ways and Means committee while working part time at the Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Penn Yan as an EMT, serving as an EMT for the Bristol Volunteer Fire Department as well as sitting on the Campbell Commission and the Board of Directors for the Partnership of Ontario County helping to find a solution to the opioid/heroin epidemic.
Bob has 30+ years of administrative/management experience in the fields of law enforcement, public safety, emergency services, health care and local government. The Sheriff’s Office is composed of many avenues including safety in the schools, road patrol, the 911 call center and the jail. His involvement with all of these avenues is pointed out in his resume found at http://bobgreenforsheriff.com.
