Multifaceted artist, Richard H. Jenks, will give a presentation titled “From Oils to Watercolor” during the Irondequoit Art Club meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Chapel Oaks, St. Ann’s Community, 1550 Portland Ave., Rochester, after the club’s 7 p.m. business meeting. T
Jenks received an associate degree in liberal arts from Monroe Community College, a Bachelor of Science in studio art from SUNY Brockport and a Master of Fine Arts from SUNY Buffalo. He taught at SUNY Buffalo in design fundamentals, surface development and drawing fundamentals.
His art has been exhibited by the Oxford Gallery, Stuart Steiner Gallery Genesee Community College in Batavia, Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center in Auburn, Cooperstown Art Association, Center at High Falls and Rochester Finger Lakes Exhibition.
Solo exhibits include: Cell Gallery, writers and books, Rochester; Rainbow Gallery, SUNY Brockport; David Rhys William Gallery, Rochester; and Angel Fire Art Gallery, Rochester.
