Walgreens is offering life-saving allergy medication for free.

The drug store is teaming up with a company that makes an EpiPen alternative called Auvi-Q amid an EpiPen shortage.

Walgreens officials say drugmaker Kaleo will cover any cost that insurance doesn't.

If insurance covers the life-saving drug, customers can pick it up at Walgreens for free. If not, Kaleo will mail the devices to your home, but you still need a prescription.
