Barkman Honey recently opened a retail store at its Victor packaging facility located at 7871 Lehigh Crossing, Suite 4.
The new facility delivers traceable honey to customers in the region. Barkman Honey’s mission focuses on sustainability and practices that are environmentally friendly. This facility allows for a localized supply chain from honey production to regional packaging and shipping, lessening food miles.
“We’re thrilled for the opportunity to bring our operations to Victor and serve this regional customer base with our high quality, responsibly sourced honey,” said Bob Deemer, manager for the Victor plant.
Victor Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the company’s first retail store. Attendees included State Sen. Rich Funke, R-55th District; Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb, R-131st District; and Jack Marren, Victor town supervisor.
The store is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays-Fridays. Visit barkmanhoney.com for information.
