The Rochester Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America will meet on Oct. 2 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester.
Hearing Other People’s Experiences will meet from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Vestry Room.
Group members will share their experiences and coping strategies in “Health Care from the Patients’ Side” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Representatives from Cochlear America Corp. will speak to the Cochlear Implant Subgroup from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Geriatric psychiatrist Anton Porsteinsson will explore the hypothesis that memory disorders can be affected by untreated hearing loss from 7 to 9 p.m.
