Christopher Knospe, of Lancaster, recently joined McDougall Communications in Rochester as a senior counselor.
His appointment deepens the firm’s offerings for domestic and international clients. Knospe has more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors developing and executing local and global communications strategies.
He previously held leadership positions in the U.S. House of Representatives and New York State Senate. He oversaw global communications and public affairs for Integer Holdings Corp., a medical device outsource manufacturer, and was principal of Capitol Partners Inc. in Washington, D.C.
Knospe was a 2011 Buffalo Business First 40 Under 40 honoree, and served on the boards for the Leadership Buffalo, National Federation of Just Communities of Western New York, Amherst Chamber of Commerce and St. Mary’s High School. He is a former chairman of the government and public affairs committee for MedTech, the state’s medical device and biotech consortium.
