Ogden Farmers’ Library, 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport, is accepting donations for its annual book sale, which will run from Oct. 16 to Oct. 20.
Community members are encouraged to contribute to the sale. The library is accepting books, music CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.
Friends of the Library members will have the opportunity to attend a presale night from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 16.
The book sale will open to the public on Oct. 17 with a celebration party from 4 to 8 p.m. featuring music and Barton’s Food Truck. Craft tables will be set up to showcase local art.
The sale will continue from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 20. The library will offer bag sales at noon and 3 p.m. on Oct. 20.
All proceeds will help the library’s efforts to maintain a creative space of learning. Last year’s sale made over $1,200, which was used to fund library programs this year.
“The library makes sure it uses its money to provide quality programming to Ogden and its citizens,” said John Cohen, library director.
