On Sunday a cat was discovered in a plastic bin that was taped shut without ventilation in LeRoy. And now, just a few days later, our news partner, News10NBC's sister station in Albany reported on a similar crime.

On Tuesday, a bin of 17 kittens was discovered in Schenectady on the side of the road. Just like the previous incident in LeRoy, this bin also had no ventilation.

However, the kittens were luckily discovered before losing air- and all were saved.

A Good Samaritan found the bin and brought it to the Animal Protective Foundation.
