Geva Theatre Center, 75 Woodbury Blvd., Rochester, unveiled its lineup for the 2018 Festival of New Theatre, which starts on Oct. 29 in the Fielding Stage.
This year’s shows are “Just Like Sisters” at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30, “Bake-Off” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 2, the Young Writers Showcase at 3 p.m. on Nov. 3-4, “Before Evening Comes” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 5, “The Color Girl” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9, “On That Day in Amsterdam” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11, “The Author’s Voice” at 7 p.m. on Dec. 1 and “The Magician’s Daughter” at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2.
Plays are presented with actors at music stands and facing the audience, and include post-reading discussions with the playwrights. Admission is free, but reservations are required.
