Cordancia Chamber Orchestra will open its ninth season with “A Swirl of Color: Music from South America, Mexico and Cuba” in two Rochester performances.
The orchestra will perform works by Alberto Ginastera, Ricardo Lorenz, Darius Milhaud, Silvestre Revueltas, Diego Vega and Heitor Villa-Lobos at 7 p.m. on Nov. 17 at The Hochstein School, 50 N. Plymouth Ave., and 3 p.m. on Nov. 18 at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church, 168 Spencerport Road.
