Explore Technology with the Whole Family: 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25. Participants will use technology in the library’s Makerspace to make their own “Frankenstein” monsters.
Spooky Campfire Storytime: 7 p.m. Oct. 25. For ages 2-7. Kids can wear their pajamas and listen to spooky stories around a pretend campfire.
Teens Who Brunch: 10:30 a.m. Oct. 27. For ages 13-18. Participants will make breakfast sandwiches with a waffle maker. Registration required.
Halloween Party: 1 p.m. Oct. 27. For ages 2-7. Attendees will eat snacks, read spooky stories, and trick or treat around the library. Costumes encouraged. Registration required.
Mad Scientist Escape Room: 3 p.m. Oct. 27. For ages 8-12. Participants will try to escape from Dr. Frankenstein’s lab. Costumes encouraged. Registration required.
Registration opens for Poisonous Plants in the Ornamental Garden (7 p.m. Nov. 14): Presented by the Monroe County Cooperative Master Gardeners and Lions Club of Chili. The talk will provide common-sense precautions to safely grow ornamental garden plants that are poisonous. Registration opens Oct. 29.
Toddler Time: 10 a.m. Oct. 29. For ages 2-3 with an adult. Drop in for stories, songs, fingerplays and a craft.
Preschool Pals: 10 a.m. Oct. 30. For ages 4-5 with an adult. The program includes stories, songs and a craft.
Babies and Books: 10:30 a.m. Oct. 30. For ages 24 months and younger with an adult.
Introduction to Watercolor Landscapes: 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30. For adult beginner watercolor artists. This class will include a brief demonstration, discussion of materials and time to create a 5-by-7 watercolor. Materials provided. Registration required.

Fairy Tale Friday: 10:15 to 11 a.m. Oct. 26. For ages 2-6 with a caregiver. The program explores versions of favorite fairy tales. Participants will sing songs, make a craft and have a snack.
Monster Ball: 9 p.m. to midnight Oct. 27. For ages 21 and older. The classic Halloween event will feature trivia, a “Frankenstein”-themed escape challenge, special effects makeup, tarot card readings, monster horror movies and a doughnut eating contest. Teen Craft — Halloween Cupcakes and More: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30. For ages 9-18. Liz Bauld will help attendees create Halloween cupcakes. Registration required.
Trick or Treat Around the Library: 10 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 31. For children of all ages with their caregivers. The annual Halloween celebration will include stories and games, followed by trick or treating around the library.
Sit, Knit and Stitch: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 1. For all experience levels. Bring a project to work on while enjoying the company of others who enjoy needlecraft like knitting, stitching and crocheting. Bring a snack or drink, if desired.
First Friday Films: 10 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 2. For all ages. Attendees will eat popcorn and watch a film.
