Richard Stutzman made a return trip to St. John’s Home on Oct. 29 to visit with and thank the staff for what they did during his recovery.
Stutzman experienced a fall off a ladder that resulted in multiple fractures and broken bones, including his arm and pelvis, earlier this year. After being released from the hospital, Stutzman was admitted to St. John’s Home rehabilitation care, located in Brighton, to begin his recovery. He worked with occupational, physical and speech therapists for a little more than a month on his personalized recovery plan before being able to return home.
Stutzman dressed up as a clown, labeled a “giggle therapist,” and handed out candy to the rehab team and other patients.
