The Webster Cyclones Pee Wee Minor Travel Hockey Team attended the 47th annual Gene Harrington Hockey Tournament in Niagara Falls the last weekend of October.
For October and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, the Webster team supported this cause by wearing pink jerseys for the tournament and the coaches and families wore pink hoodie sweatshirts and jerseys. Invisible Fence of Upstate New York sponsored the Pee Wee Minor Team with a pledge for each goal they scored over the weekend. The Webster Cyclones Pee Wee Minor Travel team scored a total of 13 goals.
On Nov. 4, the Webster Pee Wee Minor Hockey Team had a home game at the Webster Ice Arena, in which at the end of the game, the team presented Emily Goldsmith, the American Cancer Society community development manager, a check for $565. This donation was made possible by goals from the tournament weekend, Invisible Fence of Upstate New York being a sponsor and donations made from the Pee Wee Minor Hockey Travel Team.
