Jewish Senior Life (JSL) was the 2015 recipient of the Community Service Award, presented by the Brighton Chamber of Commerce. This annual award recognizes a nonprofit organization that serves the Brighton community. JSL was honored for The Lodge at Wolk Manor, its assisted living facility with memory care.
“We are honored to be selected as the recipient of the Community Service Award,” said Mike King, president and CEO of JSL. “Each of our employees shares this award, as they work to deliver exceptional care for our residents and their families every day. We also extend our sincere appreciation to The Louis S. and Molly B. Wolk Foundation for their generous financial support, and to our other supporters and partners who designed and developed The Lodge at Wolk Manor.”
The Lodge at Wolk Manor is designed to provide comfort, familiarity and security for those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other types of memory loss, as well as peace of mind for their families. With its 14 private rooms and two companion suites, The Lodge at Wolk Manor offers a small-scale, homelike setting with consistent caregivers who feel like family.
“Congratulations and thank you for your outstanding contributions to the Brighton community,” said Nelson Lopatin, president of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce.
JSL was presented with the award at the Brighton Chamber of Commerce 2015 Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, May 13, at The Gables at Brighton.
