The Mendon boys and girls indoor track and field teams competed in the Rochester Relays on Jan. 2 at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
In this meet, athletes from the same school form a relay team when they participate in the same event.

Earning second place in the regressive relay were Elyse Barkstrom (1000 meters), Julia Tomanovich (800 meters), Mackensie Galusha (600 meters) and Colleen Eckl (400 meters). These Lady Vikings also broke the previous school record set in 2008-09 by close to 10 seconds.
