Irondequoit Public Library to host special programs

The Irondequoit Public Library, 1290 Titus Ave., recently announced it would host special programs.

Terrarium 101 with Paul Tantillo: 7 p.m. Jan. 19. Participants will learn about terrariums, the history of terrariums and how they work. Tantillo will also demonstrate how to build one and give out complete instructions for creating one at home. Registration is required.

Tween Advisory Board: 4 p.m. Jan. 21. For grades 6-8, participants will help to plan programs for tweens at the library.

Learn to Solder: 4 p.m. Jan. 22. For ages 12-18, participants will practice soldering in the Maker’s Lab and create a light-up pin. Registration is required.
