Village treasurer honored by state association
Mary Marowski, village treasurer of the village of Pittsford, was recently recognized as a credentialed municipal finance officer by the New York State Society of Municipal Finance Officers for achieving its high educational, experience and participatory requirements.
 
Marowski has been employed as village treasurer for 17 years and has been a member of the NYS Society of Municipal Finance Officers for 16 years.
 
The program began in 2006 and aids municipal finance officers in improving job performance, and recognizes the professionalism of the municipalities’ finance office.

Brighton resident named vice president for enrollment
Roberts Wesleyan College recently named Kimberley Wiedefeld, of Brighton, as vice president for enrollment management.
 
Wiedefeld will oversee undergraduate, adult and graduate admissions, student financial services, brand and marketing and collaborate with advancement. She will have direct oversight of these functions at all levels of the college and indirect leadership at Northeastern Seminary. 

Wiedefeld has served in enrollment, admissions and research for over 10 years.

Prior to Roberts Wesleyan College, Wiedefeld served as senior director of undergraduate admission at Azusa Pacific University. She focused on providing strategic guidance to the admissions leadership team.
 
Wiedefeld has a master’s in education and international development from the University of London’s Institute of Education and a bachelor’s in Spanish language and literature from Azusa Pacific University.
