Lisa Powers joins Boylan Code as partner
Lisa Powers recently joined Boylan Code as a partner concentrating on elder care, trusts and estates.
 
Prior to joining Boylan Code, Powers was founder and president of the Powers Law Firm, an elder law-focused practice, helping individuals and small business owners protect assets and transfer wealth. She also created a caregiver's program for education and ongoing resources for clients.
 
Powers also worked at McConville, Considine, Cooman & Morin; Phillips, Lytle; and Higgins, Robergs, Beyerl & Coan.
 
She received her bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and received her doctorate, cum laude, from Albany Law School.
 
Powers is currently vice chair on the Arc of Monroe foundation board and founder of the Roc Leading Ladies Meetup Group.
 
In 2015, Powers was recognized as an Athena Finalist and received the National Association of Women in Coaching Award in 2014.
