Jewish Senior Life residents, families and staff recently celebrated National Grandparents Day with a petting zoo, magician and face painting.

“The celebration at the Jewish Home was overflowing with residents, family members, lots of little ones and staff,” said Christine VanVessem, vice president of staff development and quality management at Jewish Senior Life. “Everyone was engaging in all the fun activities, and it was just a wonderful afternoon of bringing families together.”

Jewish Senior Life serves people of all faiths and ethnic backgrounds and is guided by the values of honoring family; emphasizing aging in place; and allowing people to remain in the place of their choice longer.

Jewish Senior Life is CARF–CCAC accredited and a member of the Senior Health Alliance of Greater Rochester and LeadingAge New York.
